Botifarra Negra

Bottifara is a traditional Catalan sausage. Butifara is assumed to have been a favorite dish of Salvador Dali and Jose Alvarez. There are several types of botifarra. 

It is the most famous type of Catalan bloody sausage. 

It consists of pork blood and chopped onions, and various spices: black and allspice, cloves. The sausage is boiled during cooking so that it can be eaten without additional heat treatment.
